The Free Computer Literacy To Poor Children charity project is officially located at Jose Rizal Street barangay Tinago, Bato, Leyte Philippines. Training venue is temporarily held in the convenor's house, the Genes Acenas' residence due to monetary consideration.

Initial Implementation

The project started last June 2015 with only two desktops plus internet connection, and 1 inkjet printer serving initially 10 learners from nearby places. It is modular skills-based training where learners have enough to acquire. The learners have to print their output so their parents can monitor what they have achieved after every session. The output will be uploaded to social media site for others to see. Our learners have free internet access so they can chat, email, search without headache. Focus learning is observed, no outsiders are allowed to enter the center to avoid distractions. It is collaborative in nature wherein learners teach other, so learning in our charity is sharing of knowledge among children. Each learner is provided with one computer or desktop to work with their exercises. As of this writing Ponong Elementary School, barangay Ponong, Bato, Leyte is the current pilot area for project implementation. Little by little we are also opening our door to others giving few slots to children in other barangays namely Tinago, Anhawan, Cebuana, Combado, Dolho, Guerero and to barangays of neighboring towns such as brgy. Zaragosa of Matalom and bgry. Tugepa of Hilongos, Leyte. Our charity is expanding to youth and elderly in the community who want to look for brighter future.
